Upon arriving at Cape Town International Airport (CPT), please remember to collect your entire luggage from the baggage claim area before exiting the arrivals hall. Bidvest allows for renters and riders under the age of 21 if they meet the rest of the requirements which includes providing proof of a private insurance cover for the Bidvest Car Rental vehicle.

At the time of rental all renters and drivers must provide a valid form of identification as well as a valid unendorsed driver’s license.

If you are an international renter or driver you are also required to provide a valid passport. Driver’s licenses have to be printed in English and have a photograph present on it. In case the license is in any other language than English an International Driving License or an official translation by a consulate or embassy need to be provided.
