A waiver is not the same as insurance, but it is a legal, compulsory agreement between the renter of the vehicle and the rental car company which generally limits the claim against the renter in the case of any damage to or loss of the rented vehicle.

Renters of a Keddy by Europcar vehicle at Cape Town Airport have to provide an unendorsed driver’s license that has been held for a minimum of three years prior to the time of rental.

An additional driver can be added to the rental agreement at an additional fee.
