• The five-story Parkade P1 - is situated north of the terminal building. It has 8 escalators and 6 elevators, with 4050 parking spaces. For people with disabilities, each floor has 14 designated parking spaces.
• Parkade P2 - where e-hail parking and pick-up and go services are available.
• Shade Parking P3 and P4 - the pedestrian subways provide access to these parking areas on either side of the centralized car rental facility. The shaded parking has 1600 parking spaces, including the Long Stay parking P5.
• Long-term parking - users who plan to park for five days or longer.

Disabled Parking at Cape Town Airport

The ground floor of Parkade P1 at Cape Town Airport now offers long-term parking for passengers with special needs (SNP). There are 14 parking spaces designated for people with disabilities on each floor for travelers with mobility issues.

This guarantees that SNP has access to long-term parking and is situated close to the terminal for user convenience.

Additionally, passengers who need special access can call the terminal's Landside hotline at +27 (0) 21 935 3737 to arrange for a wheelchair to transport them from the airport to their car.

To make arrangements for wheelchair assistance from the check-in counters to the aircraft and from the plane to the arrival halls, passengers with special needs should also contact their respective airlines 48 hours in advance.

Short-Term Parking at Cape Town Airport

Short-term parking is available in several parking garages, including Parkade 1 and 2 and Shade (P3 and P4).

You can park your car to make a reservation at one of the restaurants in the terminal or to welcome back returning loved ones, which is open 24/7, to say goodbye in style.

It works perfectly with short-term parking for up to 4 hours. It takes only 2 to 5 minutes to walk to the terminals. Since parking at the airport is first come, first served, it is best to make reservations.

Long-Term Parking at Cape Town Airport

Long-stay parking is the most cost-effective option for travelers leaving their cars for longer than five days.

Users will receive a prepaid access card; all they need to do is load funds onto it. The same rates for long-term general parking in P5 will be used to calculate parking fees.

Drive in and park in the secure terminal lots to start traveling immediately. Please remember that you must make reservations online in advance because there are only 189 bays available and it is strictly first come, first served.

• Only the parking payment units conveniently located on the ground floor of parkade buildings and at the landings at the shaded parking areas are used for parking payment.
• Cash payments, payments made with major credit cards, and all debit cards are accepted at the parking pay stations at Cape Town Airport thanks to the new Chip 'n Pin facility. There are parking attendants nearby to help with any issues.
• For the convenience of the passenger, a battery "jump start" service and "flat tire" assistance are offered through our service provider Katanga Parking Services. • The distance from Cape Town's city center to the airport is only 8.4 kilometers or 13 minutes. It's helpful to use maps when driving.
• The quickest way to get to Cape Town Airport is to take Halt Road. Follow 16th Street south to 7th Avenue. To get to Freight Rd in Matroosfontein, take Halt Rd, 35th St/M12, Robert Sobukwe Rd/M10, and Borcherds Quarry Rd/M22, then keep going on Freight Rd to get to the airport.
• Always check the city's most recent weather and traffic reports before going on a trip.
• Flights may depart later or earlier than scheduled. You must arrive at the departure location 30 minutes before your flight is expected to leave and arrive one hour early for your Cape Town departure.
• Plan ahead to make your trip more convenient and have quick access to airport services. You can choose the ideal parking space based on your needs.
